Pet owners in Wells are being offered free festive gifts as a thank you for keeping their animals healthy this year.
Nurture Veterinary Clinic is giving every Health Care Plan member a Christmas present when they visit the practice between 1 December and the end of January.
Cats will get a teaser toy, while dogs can choose between a waste bag dispenser, a bandana or a new lead.
The gesture is Nurture's way of thanking the people who've stuck with their monthly pet health plans. The clinic says the scheme helps owners stay on top of routine care without being hit by big bills.
A spokesperson said: "Our Health Care Plans make responsible pet ownership simple and affordable. They cover things insurance doesn't – like vaccinations, flea and worm treatment, parasite control, and regular health checks."
The plans also offer early detection of problems, which can mean pets live longer, healthier lives – and owners save money in the long run.
Nurture says now is the perfect time for anyone not already signed up to join, with different plans available depending on the pet's needs.
Full details and prices are available at www.nurture.vet or by speaking to the team in person.
