If you were sight impaired this simple task that we all take for granted may be extremely difficult to manage.

Somerset Sight is looking for volunteers across Somerset to visit sight impaired people for friendship and company once a week or fortnight.

The befriending service helps to reduces the risk of isolation and loneliness for people with sight loss.

The charity offers full training, gives full support in the role and pays out of pocket expenses including mileage.
