Locals are being encouraged to support the refreshment kiosk in the Recreation Ground between the Barn and Bandstand.

Wells City Council is trialling the offer of refreshments as a result of recent public consultation.

The Moss family who provide a similar service at the Underwood Business Park are running a trial from their 1956 Citroen van which they have converted into a mobile café.

Opening hours are still being reviewed and will depend on the weather.

"So whilst taking the kids to the park, exercising your dog or maybe taking a stroll during your lunch break; a good selection of food, drinks and ice-creams are available to grab and go," the council said.
