Police launch 'walk and talk' initiative in Wells to enhance women's safety

Avon and Somerset Police are launching their 'Walk and Talk' initiative in Wells, inviting local women to share their insights to enhance community safety.

Women in Wells will have the opportunity to walk with a female police officer or PCSO, pointing out areas where they feel unsafe or uncomfortable.

spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "This initiative provides a platform for women in Wells to actively contribute to their community's safety. We aim to build trust and understanding, and the 'Walk and Talk' program allows us to connect with residents on a personal level. Together, we can make Wells a safer place for everyone."
