Police believe missing man may have been in Wells

Police are asking people to keep an eye out for missing man who they believe may be in the area.

54-year-old Richard was last seen in Southmead on Sunday 19 February, but he may have been in Wells last week.

Avon and Somerset Police is urging the public to dial 999 if they spot him.

He is described as white, male, 5ft 9ins, slim and has dark shaggy hair.

He was last seen wearing a grey jumper, a black coat, blue jeans and silver-framed glasses.

In a statement on Twitter, a spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "Richard, who is 54 years old, is missing and we need the public to call us if they see him. If you see Richard, please call 999 reference 5223040840."
