UPDATE: Police are investigating damage at St Cuthbert's Church in Wells

Police have now identified a man they wished to speak to in connection to damage at a church in Wells.

A door at St Cuthbert's Church was damaged and glass smashed at approximately 4.15-4.25pm on Wednesday 16 March.

CCTV enquiries were carried out and identified a man of interest. After issuing an appeal for information, the man has now been identified.

Police say that enquiries are still ongoing.
