Police appeal for witnesses after motorcyclist seriously injured in Wells collision

Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for public assistance after a motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a collision with a Peugeot 208 in Wells.

The incident occurred on September 3 at 2.25 pm on the A371, near the Titlands Lane junction.

The rider, a man in his 30s, is currently in hospital receiving treatment for serious injuries. Authorities are now looking for witnesses and dashcam footage to further their investigation.

A police spokesperson stated, "We are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a road traffic collision earlier this month. If you have any information, witnessed the collision, or have any relevant footage, please contact us."

Those with information are urged to call 101, quoting the reference number 5223213722. Alternatively, you can complete the online appeals form. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or through their online Form.
