The Old Social Club and Skittle Alley at Chewton Mendip could soon get a new lease of life.
Mendip planners have approved an application for the currently unused space in the heart of the village, to become a co-working space and social hub.
According to the application, the refurbished space will predominantly be used to train digital marketing apprentices, while at evenings and weekends it will be a social space, with the skittle alley brought back into use.
