Drivers in Shepton Mallet and Wells are being warned of overnight road closures between Commercial Road roundabout and Croscombe, running until Friday, 6 March 2026.

The closure will affect the route along Pike Hill through to Croscombe. According to a road closure notice, the road will be shut nightly between 7pm and 6am during this period.

No further details about the nature of the works have been provided in the notice. It is not yet clear whether a signed diversion will be in place.

Motorists travelling between Shepton Mallet, Croscombe and Wells are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys while the overnight closure is in force.

Residents and businesses along the route may be directly affected during the specified hours. Further information is expected from the relevant authority closer to the start date.
