Mogers Drewett launches Christmas campaign to support Wells foodbank

South West legal and financial planning firm Mogers Drewett has launched a festive campaign to support struggling families by collecting donations for local foodbanks, including Wells Storehouse.
The firm is accepting non-perishable food items at its offices in Wells, Bath, Sherborne, and Frome. With the demand for foodbank services surging in the run-up to Christmas, the initiative aims to provide much-needed relief to those facing hardship.
In Wells, donations will go to Wells Storehouse, formerly known as Wells Vineyard Foodbank. The Storehouse, supported in partnership with accountants Old Mill, provides food and essential services to local families in need.
Mogers Drewett has a long-standing tradition of supporting community organisations, including Bath's Genesis Trust, Sherborne Food Bank, and Fair Frome, all of which are also part of this campaign.
Daizee Rocker-Cook, marketing and events executive at Mogers Drewett, said:
"We are once again setting up foodbank collection points for clients and staff to donate non-perishable goods during the festive period, when many families struggle to make ends meet.
"This year, we're going further by directly supporting local foodbanks in every community where we have an office. So this season, let's come together to make a real difference.
"Whether it's a can of soup, a bag of pasta, or a jar of peanut butter, every donation counts. Non-perishable food items are essential to keeping our local foodbanks stocked, ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry this Christmas."
The firm is also accepting cash donations, with collection tins available at its offices.
Wells Storehouse continues to play a vital role in the community, providing food parcels and compassionate support to those in need. Mogers Drewett's collaboration aims to bolster these efforts and ensure that the festive season is a little brighter for struggling families in Wells and beyond.
Donations can be dropped off at Mogers Drewett's offices until Christmas. For more information on how to support the campaign, visit their website.
