Wells Cathedral was thrilled this week to receive a generous donation of £450 from the Classic and Historic Motor Club, following the successful Mendip Vintage and Classic Tour on 19 May 2024.

The event saw over 170 classic cars take a picturesque route across the Mendip Hills on a beautiful spring afternoon.

The tour concluded with a spectacular display on the Cathedral Green, where the public had the opportunity to admire the diverse range of vintage vehicles.

A spokesperson for Wells Cathedral said, "It was a wonderful occasion, and we are immensely grateful to all who took part in and supported the event. We look forward to hosting the Mendip Tour again in 2025."
