Christmas comes to Wells on December 14 and 21, as two markets link up to unite 130 stalls.

Visitors will find the traditional Wells Market operating alongside a Christmas Market on the Bishop's Palace Green.

Also there will not be any parking charges all-day in Wells on December 21.

The Christmas in Wells offering is different to previous years as it connects the regular market in the city centre, to the Bishop's Palace Green.

This collaborative approach has been achieved thanks to the work of community groups, traders and Mendip District Council.

Expect a feast of festive food and drink, great gift ideas, plus plenty of music and entertainment for all.

Come and enjoy the atmosphere, stock-up, and get those shopping-list essentials sorted. All in Wells.

The festive Markets are open on Saturday December 14 and Saturday December 21, from 9am to 4pm.
