Man dies after falling ill in Market Street in Wells

A man has sadly passed away after falling ill in the Market Street area of Wells yesterday (December 4).

South Western Ambulance Service was called at around 3.10pm yesterday about an incident on Market Street.

It sent various resources to the scene including land ambulance crews and an air ambulance crew, plus the police were called to assist.

However, it was confirmed this morning (December 5) that the man has now died. There is nothing suspicious about his death and no resulting police investigation.
