Halloween Spectacular to return to Wookey Hole this season

The home of Halloween, Wookey Hole, announces the details of its highly anticipated Halloween event, taking place from 21 – 29 October 2023. This annual event is set to bring a captivating fusion of magic, entertainment and eerie delights, promising an unforgettable experience for explorers of all ages.

This year sees an array of exciting activities and attractions for visitors to see and experience at Wookey Hole this Halloween, all included in the standard ticket price.

Young witches and wizards are invited to unlock their inner magician through interactive Magic & Mayhem lessons, embarking on a journey to master the mystical arts in this fully immersive experience. Upon completing this fun lesson, participants will receive a certificate proudly certifying their newfound magical skills.

The world-famous Wookey Hole Circus will be performing its Halloween show, drawing inspiration from the iconic character, Wednesday Addams. The spell-binding performance promises to leave audiences both enchanted and spooked. The Wookey Hole theatre will also host a daily fancy dress competition, with an annual family membership up for grabs on a daily basis.

Ellen Ramsay, spokesperson for the Cottle Family Trust which owns Wookey Hole (and part time Witch of Wookey), comments, "This year's Halloween event looks to be the best we've ever had! We've got a great line-up of things to do for every member of the family and we can't wait for visitors to experience what we've got in store for them!"

Young adventurers can also explore Wookey Hole's mystical corners on the exciting Giant Pumpkin Trail. Find hidden pumpkins, embrace the spook-filled landscape and take home a special Halloween treat at the trail's end.

Tee off amidst a captivating realm of pumpkins and monsters at Spooky Golf. Wookey Hole's adventure golf course undergoes a spine-tingling transformation, offering an exciting Halloween experience for participants of all ages.

As guests exit the caves, they will encounter the Wookey Hole pumpkin patch – a visual wonder with over 600 pumpkins, adding an extra touch of enchantment to a Halloween adventure.

Tickets can be purchased online, from £17.95 for children, £22.45 for adults and £21.45 for seniors. Early booking is recommended to secure your spot at this highly anticipated event.
