Bad weather calls off Sunday's family Christmas event

A family Christmas event due to take place in Wells on Sunday 18th December has been cancelled.

The Rotary Club of Wells had organised a free event with live entertainment, the opportunity to win prizes, stalls selling Christmas Fayre including holly and mistletoe and activities for children including the opportunity to meet Santa.

But with heavy rain and 22mph winds forecast across the area, organisers have made the difficult decision to cancel.
