Edgar Wright, the former Wells Blue School student who famous directed and shot the cult movie Hot Fuzz in the city, has signed Game of Thrones star Dame Diana Rigg for his new movie.

Wright is currently working on Last Night In Soho, a psychological thriller film, and shooting has recently started in central London.

Wright is directing from a screenplay he co-write with Krysty Wilson-Cairns, a writer on Penny Dreadful. Wright is also producing the film, alongside Nira Park (Hot Fuzz), Tim Bevan (Baby Driver) and Eric Fellner (Darkest Hour).

Dame Diana starred recently as Olenna Tyrell in Game of Thrones, having originally found fame in the 1960s in The Avengers.
