For around £800 per night, holidaymakers can now book a stay in a unique setting complete with graves in the garden.

This 19th-century Gothic church, situated near Wells, serves as a holiday let after a transformation led by owners Glenn and Maggie.

The property, listed as Grade II, accommodates up to 14 guests across its six bedrooms. Interestingly, Glenn saw the purchase through while recovering from open-heart surgery in hospital.

Although it offers modern amenities such as a hot tub and a 44-foot kitchen, the holiday let preserves elements of its original 1830s architecture, including a vaulted living room with a view of Glastonbury Tor.

A banqueting gallery with restored stained-glass windows adds to the property's unique atmosphere.

Situated within a convenient drive of Wells, Glastonbury and Clarks Shopping Village, the property includes three bathrooms and off-road parking for two to three cars, with extra parking available nearby.

However, it's the graves in the garden that may either deter or intrigue potential guests. It's an unusual feature that sets this holiday let apart, making it a talking point as well as a resting place.

Staying here will cost a minimum of £800 a night, but with its blend of history, luxury and just a dash of the macabre, this one-of-a-kind accommodation, priced at £800 a night, is certainly worth its weight in tales.
