Fire in the open at Priddy Road, Wells

Date: 11.06.2018Time: 11:53Location: Priddy Road, WellsDevon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received a call from a member of the public reporting a fire in the open, at the above location.

One appliance from Wells was immediately mobilised by fire control.

On arrival the officer in charge confirmed eight hay bales to be alight and requested the attendance of a second pump from Wells.

Crews got to work to extinguish the fire using one hose reel jet and drag fork
