Glastonbury circus fundraiser brings after-dark festival

Children's World and Devito's Circus will bring an after-dark festival fundraiser to Paddington Farm Trust in Glastonbury this weekend.

The event, billed as "After Dark: A Theatrical & Circus Wonder", will run from 7 pm until 11.45 pm at the farm in BA6 8JW.

The evening will feature theatrical performance, acrobatics, fire, circus acts and festival-style entertainment, with Dr Amazo, who has appeared at Glastonbury Festival, compering the night. Organisers say all profits from the fundraiser will support Children's World's work helping children through creativity and play.

Performers listed for the night include Cirquemily, Amanda Perry, Lulu May, Devito's Circus, Kwabana Lindsay, Midnight Playground and DJ Chas23 of 3SEVEN6. The programme includes slackline performance, LED interactive hooping, fire show, performance art and circus entertainment.

Food and drink will also be available on site, with organisers confirming a licensed bar and hot food options. Stalls, face painting and a silent disco are also planned as part of the evening.

The event takes place at Paddington Farm Trust, Glastonbury, BA6 8JW. Tickets are being sold for the Festival Fundraiser with Children's World and Devito's Circus, with the event promoted as a fundraising night in support of Children's World.
