The countdown is on for Wells Comedy Festival 2025, with the three-day event kicking off this weekend across multiple venues in the heart of the city.

Comedy fans from Street, Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet and across Somerset are expected to head to Wells between Friday 23 and Sunday 25 May, for a packed programme of stand-up shows, late-night laughs and some big names.

The big news? Taskmaster favourite Sam Campbell has just been added to the line-up – and tickets are already selling fast.

When is Wells Comedy Festival 2025?

The festival takes place from Friday 23 May to Sunday 25 May 2025, with shows hosted at Wells Little Theatre, Cedars Hall, and other venues across the city.

Doors open 30 minutes before showtimes, and some performers have a strict no-latecomers policy, so check your tickets and arrive early.
