Three of the acts at the Wells' next monthly stand-up comedy night, are fresh from performing sell out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Silly Sausage Comedy, at The Venue on South Street, will play host on September 7 to headline act Louise Leigh whose show Identifiable was voted one of the the top 14 free shows at the festival.
Critics said of her show: "Leigh's a polished, sparky performer, able to energise a room, even a sweaty Counting House Loft at 10.30 in the morning, with routines on motherhood, self-image and knocking on a bit."
She's previously secured places in the Funny Women Regional Finals (2017) and Stand Up for Cider finals (2016 and 18) and is described as being "charming, funny and has a natural rapport with the audience".
Opening the night is Chortle Student Comedy Awards' People's Choice for the Bristol heat, Alex Kitson.
He's spent August performing every night at the Fringe, in the five-star rated Bristol Revunions presents - Party!
Finally, in a change to the original line-up, Silly Sausage presents the outrageous Laura Fell, star of the one-woman show Simply Filthy.
The lucky people of Wells will get a tantalising glimpse of her hip-thrusting, self-humiliating comedy for one night only.
There will also be three more highly-rated, local breakthrough acts - Dani Johns, Conor Cooke and Frances Jackson, who is local to Wells.
Hosting the night will be Shepton Mallet comedian Heather Bryson-Banks. Doors open at 7.30pm, tickets in advance are £10 from The Venue.
