Date: 29.09.2019Time: 19:18Location: WellsA call was received to a domestic property fire at the above location with details that smoke could be seen issuing from the property. Fire engines from Wells, Glastonbury and Shepton Mallet attended the incident and immediately confirmed that there was a person reported inside the property. The crews forced entry into the property and used 4 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and one thermal imaging camera to locate the person and extinguish the fire. Crews confirmed there was fire and smoke damage to the kitchen and that the casualty was conveyed to hospital by ambulance suffering from smoke inhalation.The cause of this fire was believed to be accidental.
