Commercial Property Fire at Tucker Street, Wells, Somerset

Date: 20.05.2018Time: 14:42Location: Tucker Street, Wells, SomersetThe fire service were called to a fire at the rear of a property.One crew from Wells, one crew from Glastonbury and one crew from Shepton Mallet attended.On arrival the crews confirmed that there was smoke logging to the rear of the property. Crews got to work with four breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one safety jet.Once the fire had been extinguished crews used two positive pressure ventilation fans to remove the smoke and one thermal imaging camera to ensure the property was safe.The fire caused ten percent fire damage to the rear door and extraction units and thirty percent smoke damage to the rear store room.The cause of the fire was accidental.
