A community hand drumming and percussion group in Wells is drumming up support for two local charities with a musical event open to all, regardless of musical experience.

The group is inviting community members to get involved, have fun, and raise funds for a worthwhile cause.

Raffle tickets are already on sale, offering a chance to win an array of prizes generously donated by local businesses in Wells and the surrounding areas. Priced at £2 each or £6 for a strip, the tickets can be purchased from the Portway Annexe reception desk starting Tuesday, 5th September.

Highlighting the event's inclusive nature, the organisers have made it clear that no prior musical experience is required to participate. Attendees are encouraged to join in and contribute whatever they can, with payments accepted on a donation basis.

For those interested in reserving a drum for the workshop or making a donation, the contact person is Chrissie, who can be reached on 07948 726754 or via email at [email protected].
