Wells Cathedral is set to host its annual 'Carols by Candlelight' concerts on three consecutive evenings—Tuesday 19, Wednesday 20, and Thursday 21 December.

The concerts will feature performances by the Wells Cathedral Choir and include festive readings and poetry from a special guest.

As a feature of the event, the cathedral will be lit by over 3,000 candles, creating a distinctive setting for the evening's performances. The combination of music, spoken word, and candlelight aims to offer a unique experience within the cathedral's architectural setting.

The concerts also serve a charitable purpose, with proceeds from ticket sales going towards the cathedral's charitable work. Ticket prices range from £6.36 to £56, offering a range of options for those interested in attending.

This annual event provides an opportunity for the public to experience a traditional celebration of the Christmas season within the historical context of Wells Cathedral.
