Autumn recycling site hours come into effect from 1 October

Residents planning a trip to their local recycling site are being reminded that new opening hours will come into effect from Wednesday, 1 October.

Somerset Council has confirmed that all 16 recycling sites across the county will switch to autumn and winter hours. While weekend opening times remain unchanged at 9am to 4pm, weekday hours and opening days will vary by site.

During the week, sites will be open from 9am to 5pm on their designated days. The council is urging residents to check individual site details online before visiting.
