Acclaimed local photographer Jason Bryant has just released a book of photographs of the late Queen Elizabeth II.

The Queen and I contains 100 pages of photographs taken by Jason over the years, and includes pictures from her visits to Somerset, as well as more than 100 pictures taken following her death.

Jason was one of the accredited photographers for the funeral, and from his privileged vantage points was able to capture some magnificent images of the occasion.

The image on the cover of the book was taken during the Queen's visit to Wells in 2002.

Early this year, an exhibition of Jason's photographs of the Queen was held in Wells Cathedral to coincide with the Platinum Jubilee.

The Queen and I was printed by St Andrews Press, and is available to buy from Basil Powell Shoes on Broad Street for £15.
