On Sunday (July 14), motorists will not be able to drive along the A371 from Wells to Shepton Mallet as the road will be closed at Croscombe.

The road will be shut for the day to enable Western Power Distribution to replace some overhead electricity wires.

The A371 Long Street will be closed for 280 metres from 80m west of the junction with Old Street to the junction with Back Lane.

The official diversion will direct traffic out to Glastonbury from Wells and Shepton Mallet, along the major A roads.
