The Festival's Artistic Director Ros Johnson is looking for local talent to join the ensemble.

She said: "Since 2018 we have built an incredible ensemble of talented performers, many of whom had never acted before joining us. The Wells Community Theatre is all about giving people the opportunity to experience working with theatre professionals to create a piece of theatre to a high standard. Being part of this creative is an empowering journey of self-discovery. Throughout rehearsals the cast gets the chance to realise their potential and learn new skills. We have become a tight knit team; we work hard, and we have a lot of fun."

Auditions will start with a workshop alongside the current ensemble which will take place at The Drama Barn in Market Street between 2-5pm on 23 October. Further workshops will be arranged in the following weeks.

There is no need to prepare anything in advance but some familiarity with the play would be an advantage.

If you would like to take part on October 23 or express interest in later workshops please email [email protected].
