Silly Sausage Comedy night only launched in Wells this August, but its mix of breakthrough talent, crowd pleasing headline acts and commitment to gender diversity, has really gone down well with local audiences.

Almost every night sells out mainly in advance. Promoter, local radio presenter, comedian and MC Heather Bryson-Banks says this is her biggest act yet.

"II am so excited to bring TV star Laura Lexx to Silly Sausage," she said.

"I've seen her live before and was blown away. She's from the South West, and says that she really loves Wells. She's been here a number of times for the comedy festival, and loves the area."

The pint-sized, award-winning comedian has been hailed as "a bouncy, bubbly stand-up star" by The Telegraph.

This Christmas special will be a real treat. As well as the usual boozy bolly raffle (in aid of the Mind UK mental health charity) there will be musical and cabaret acts, like the unforgettable Sam Hardy (Bristol Comedy Chest) and returning crowd favourites Louise Leigh (Edinburgh Festival 2019 and occasional Silly Sausage guest MC), Alex Kitson (This Next Act host) and Katy Trev (Frog and Bucket finalist).

Opening the night will be rising star Jessie Nixon (Funny Women Finalist 2019) and free mince pies for all.

Tickets are £15 in advance via the red button below.
