Literally Shepton brings a weekend of stories, poetry, and comedy to town

Shepton Mallet is set for a weekend of literature, creativity, and laughter as Literally Shepton hosts three exciting events on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd March—including two free events and a brilliantly priced comedy night featuring top stand-up acts.
What's on?
Friday 21st March – Spring Tales at the Art Bank (8pm)
A free open mic night where storytellers, poets, and spoken word artists can share their work in a welcoming and creative space.
Saturday 22nd March – 'Found' Poetry Workshop at Shepton Mallet Library (10:30am – 1pm)
Join author Polly Hall for a free interactive poetry workshop, exploring the art of 'found' poetry. Perfect for beginners and experienced poets alike.
Saturday 22nd March – Stand Up for Shepton at the Art Bank (doors 7:30pm, show 8:15pm sharp)
A top-tier night of comedy featuring five outstanding acts, including headliners Raymond & Mr Timpkins Revue. Tickets are just £10 (early bird price), making this one of the best-value comedy nights around.
