Sage and Bumble

Sage & Bumble is a handmade home fragrance and lifestyle shop which can be found near St Cuthbert's Church at the bottom of the High Street in the beautiful cathedral city of Wells, Somerset, and just opposite Long Story Bistro.

Most of what you'll find here is made from scratch, by hand, in small batches, in Jo's own workshop, The Bumblery. Wax melts, reed diffusers, bath bombs, bath salts, room sprays, perfumes and car diffusers, all created with care and attention and of a quality you will struggle to find elsewhere. It is well known by the shop regulars just how long the diffusers last, whilst continuing to fragrance the room.

What Jo doesn't make herself, she chooses very carefully. The French soaps, bath pearls, perfumes, artisan accessories and lifestyle pieces stocked alongside the handmade range are held to exactly the same standard. Nothing makes it onto the shelves unless it's of the same quality of Jo's own products and has been tested in her own home.

Fragrance is at the heart of everything here. Jo has an exceptionally keen sense of smell, and that shapes every product she makes. Strong enough to fill a room, never overpowering. You'll notice the difference the moment you walk through the door.

Sage & Bumble isn't stocking what every other shop has. Everything here is either handmade by Jo or sourced from fellow artisan makers, and the standard is the same across the board. High quality and affordable aren't a compromise, they come as standard.
