Trio Paradis Cafe Concert 'Daughters of the Muse' at St Thomas' Wells

St Thomas's Church, Wells

Music

UNTIL Monday 6th March

March’s concert consists entirely of music by women composers to tie in with International Women's Day.

Trio Paradis play a café concert on the first Monday morning of each month at St Thomas's: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café half an hour open before the concert where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, or simply relax and enjoy beautiful music in a range of styles.

March's concert consists entirely of music by women composers, to tie in with International Women's Day, and includes music by Charlotte Sohy, Clara Schumann (the Andante from her Piano Trio) and the first movement of Rebecca Clarke's dramatic Trio which was composed in response to the events of the First World War.

Concerts last c45m. Entrance is by donation. All ages welcome, including children. You might like to bring a cushion for the pew.
